UpENDing Parkinson’s Meet-Up

Up Ending Parkinson’s provides a climbing program that empowers people with Parkinson’s to live with strength, community, and hope. Through climbing and shared support, we’re helping participants build resilience, improve mobility, and redefine what’s possible.

Frontier Climbing & Fitness is honored and excited to bring this opportunity and program to the Sioux Falls community. People living with Parkinson’s of all levels of mobility and fitness are welcome – no climbing experience is needed as we have volunteers that are excited to teach, coach and share their love for climbing with you.

ABOUT UEP

Frontier Climbing & Fitness is partnering with UpENDing Parkinsons, a nonprofit that provides guided rock climbing for people living with Parkinson’s Disease. Anyone living with PD is welcome to climb, and family members are encouraged to climb as well!

People living with Parkinson’s Disease have challenges that span the physical, social and emotional spheres. Rock climbing addresses all of these challenges from balance and strength to depression, cognitive impairment and social isolation.

Admission, instruction, belayers and rental gear are provided during the meet-up. No experience is needed!

Are you top-rope belay certified and interested in volunteering to help expand the group? Please go to VOMO and sign up!
